Happy 10th, Ohio LinuxFest — We’re coming to celebrate!
Pogo Linux is heading to Columbus, Ohio for Ohio LinuxFest 2012!
Ohio LinuxFest, the premier free and open software conference and expo event in the Midwest, is celebrating its 10th year THIS WEEKEND, and Pogo Linux will be there!
This expo does a great job of bringing together Linux enthusiasts in the Midwest – we’ve attended for several years now. It’s a great opportunity to meet and interact with our fellow Linux enthusiasts, and to support the Linux and open source community. We’re looking forward to hearing some great talks, ranging from Android development to running Linux on a Gameboy. As always, there is a little something for everyone.
But wait, there’s more! There will be a raffle at the end of the day on Saturday, and one lucky attendee will win a Pogo Linux Verona 930 workstation — valued at over $800!!
The system features an Intel i5-2500 processor, 8GB of RAM, Nvidia GT 620 Graphics, and a Seagate 3TB Hard Drive, perfect for the Linux developer or someone who wants to test-drive the latest version of their favorite distro.
We’ll be at the show on Saturday the 29th, at table #4. Stop by to chat about the latest happenings in the Linux world, and find out more about our server, workstation, and storage offerings. Admission is free, and we’ll have lots of exciting product info to share.
See you in Columbus!
