AMD EPYC Server Processors -
Higher Density for Higher Core Counts

These are the first EPYC x86-architecture server processors built on 7nm technology, enabling AMD to double the core-density. With up to 96 cores/192 threads per socket, this new design offers 8 independent processor dies, along with an independent I/O die. The new AMD EPYC 9004 Series also offers the most I/O and memory bandwidth in its class, with 8 memory channels supporting DDR5.

AMD 96 Core Processor -
Ideal for Single Socket Servers

The 4th gen AMD EPYC CPU comes with up to 96 cores, which generates performance traditionally reserved for dual-socket systems. This is doubly significant, considering the possible savings on software licensing. You can now configure a system to perform comparably to a traditional dual-socket server, while obtaining massive savings on per-socket software licenses.

The 4th Gen EPYC Processor - Silicon Embedded Security

As soon as the system is powered up, the AMD EPYC™ server's secure 'root of trust' protects your data by cryptographically validating the entire software stack as it loads. The ‘hardened at the core’ new AMD server CPU uses 509 unique encryption keys, which are managed by a dedicated security processor. This makes it possible to individually encrypt every virtual machine and hypervisor running on the server. Additionally, an encrypted register state protects against memory leaks, while secure I/O secures encrypted network traffic all the way to the disk.

AMD EPYC Servers -
Taking the Performance Lead

The 4th Gen AMD EPYC CPU has set multiple record-breaking server benchmarks. These benchmarks establish this new architecture as a winning solution for a variety of workloads. The AMD EPYC 7742 has set records in the following benchmarks:
